A full circle moment 🎱✨
Exactly a year ago today, I walked into my first day of a four-day work experience at The Gate Films. Green to the industry, eager to learn, and unsure of what lay ahead.
Fast forward to today, precisely one year later, and I’ve just started as an in-house Production Assistant at The Gate Films.
It really does feel like a full circle moment.
It’s hard to put into words how much has changed in a year. From those first tentative steps to now having 3 months of work experience, 8 months of freelance work, and a whole collection of memories, challenges, and lessons along the way.
Over the past year, I’ve really pushed myself - stepping outside of my comfort zone, learning new things about the industry, and discovering a lot about myself in the process.
I’m incredibly excited and grateful to be taking the leap from freelance into an in-house role with The Gate Films. It feels like a huge milestone, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity and the people who made it possible.
I’m so incredibly appreciative to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far, for the friends and connections I’ve made and continue to grow.
I’m excited to see what the next year brings! 🤩
