Tony and I were lucky in that we missed half the horrendous ice storm here in Nashville and got to spend the week in Japan 🇯🇵. That being said, we were out of power for a few days when we got home, and we are very grateful to @wangomango17 and @anthonycosiomarron for putting up with us and Rupert in the storm. I’m kind of over reels, so here are some old fashioned pics from the trip, mostly food😝

A few moments from the final days of 2025…what a year it has been! In the last month, I managed to travel all over the country, play a LOT of concerts with an amazing band, eat lots of yummy food with good people, and do a few handstands in front of mountains and beaches. Honestly, this is probably the first year of my life where looking back in reflection has actually been difficult and I’ve had to combat a lot of negativity. I can honestly say that I wish so many things had gone differently. And simultaneously I’m proud of the progress I’ve made in my business, the cool gigs I’ve gotten to play, and the resilience and growth in my marriage and relationships, especially given all the chaos and sadness that we’ve endured this year. Maybe that’s just what happens when you get older, but also sometimes things suck and it’s okay to acknowledge them. Personally, I’m not going for a new year, new me approach because I believe everyday you wake up, you have the capacity to be better and choose how you want to show up in any given moment. And yet, for the first time, I am hopeful for the chance to renew and for a very different new year where things feel easier, happier, and more joyful because that seems nice. Happy new year everyone! On to the next 🙂

One of my favorite places on earth is the Yucatán Peninsula. I love how connected the Mayan people are to the earth, I love the magic of cenotes and the calm of the ocean there. And I love that I got to share this place with one of my favorite people, @jenna_kohles 💛Taking a moment to slow down, enjoy our planet and the experience of being alive, healthy, and adventurous with you makes me so happy. Female friendships are the best😊

This is a life lately post… pictures from the times I felt capable enough to look outside of my grief and take a quick snapshot. In the last few months, I have been talking with a close friend who reminds me often that we have to essentially learn to coexist with our sadness. Like it has to become our friend. It never goes away, but our relationship with it evolves. As hard as this process seems sometimes, it does get easier, and puts certain things that once felt hard into perspective. It’s much easier than it once was to deal with work stressors, to be motivated to do a hard workout, to have a difficult conversation with a friend, because in comparison, those things feel small. Evolution is interesting. Maybe this grief is something I needed to experience to be prepared for what’s next in my life. To give me the perspective to truly appreciate the beautiful life that is to come. This has been a season of sadness and sometimes gratitude. When I can step outside of myself and open my eyes, I feel an immense appreciation for being alive, which I never really had before this year. I hope you can look outside of yourself this week and feel gratitude for what is, even amongst the sadness. Whether you’re missing someone you knew or someone you’ve longed to meet, both are valid💛
