#TransparentPost Yesterday I had a moment.💭A moment of just crying out to God about the things I just don’t understand in my life - including this waiting journey! 😥😮💨 Then I had a moment of just surrendering those feelings to God. And I felt His presence. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I used to feel like if I cried then I wasn’t handling things well. But I give myself Grace these days and said it’s okay for me to express how I feel. It doesn’t mean I don’t trust God or His promise - yes I’m a lil tired of waiting, I want things to just make sense and flow, and I’m tired the constant grind in other areas of my life- BUT I still trust God and the promises He spoke over my life! 🙌🏾
So I just want to encourage you all that every day won’t feel like you’re one step closer to the promise and it won’t feel like everything is aligning but always remember God is working in the midst of it all - even when it feels like this is a “quiet season” like God isn’t saying much. Rest in the things that He has told you and it’s okay if you need to cry out to Him while you wait. 💛
Psalm 56:8 MSG: “You’ve kept track of my every toss and turn through the sleepless nights, each tear entered in your ledger, each ache written in your book.”
Psalm 69:32-33 NLT : “…Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged.. For the Lord hears the cries of the needy…”

Tonight we had an amazing conversation about The Gift of Waiting! @itsaustingerard & @brealenasmith shared some amazing nuggets of truth as we discussed navigating various waiting seasons, singleness, work, marriage, and ministry!
Some takeaways:
✨The very area that we are trying to escape is the area God is trying to develop!
✨In seasons that seem silent, God could be communicating but it’s just not how we want to hear it!
✨Waiting reveals what you truly value and what’s in your heart!
✨There is development in the waiting!
