2024 Recap EP.3: A Full Fledged Arc of Life
My mental health and motivation has been an intersting thing to explore in 2024. Balancing the stresses of work, having time for playing music and life is not an easy thing to do. Sometimes wrenches are thrown into the pot and chaos ensues. For me, trusting myself and my abilities is something I've really been working on.
Please enjoy this clip of "Gambit" by @fullfledgedofficial live at the Oyo on 3-1-24. I definitely was not in the best shape that day mentally or physically, but the show must go on! I purposely left in the technical error of my kick pedal beater coming off during the song because it really shows a number of things:
1) vibes being interrupted by an unforseen issue.
2) quick problem solving to recover as quickly as possible.
3) a good support system to bring everything all together.
It somehow encapulates how life kinda just happens in the moment, just like how music kinda just happens in the moment. You just gotta keep at it and have good people behind you.😁
This post is way too long, but just wanted to mention the inverse clipping to black on the lights is a software error with iPhone color grading, but it looks so sick haha.
