I've been meaning to post this photograph for a while now. It’s called "Twilight of Gods"
I thought long and hard about what I want to write here. I do not know yet, but I remember that these photographs came to and through me; You know how sometimes images just find you? This was one of those rare, precious moments. It was the year 2013, before May.

Mono No Aware
“Mono No Aware” is a Japanese term for the awareness of impermanence and transience of things. It is also translated as “pathos of things” or “empathy towards things”. The state / condition which is described by this wistful saying is the state where the existing things are appreciated and, since they exist -because they will die, pass by- is also the state where a gentle sadness is felt.
With this three piece series, in which I tell my historical kinesis, I attempt to new readings / constructions for the audience and myself. Each piece corresponds to the projections of phases that I have claimed to experience.
