I feel very vulnerable posting this. I was afraid of receiving hate for making a joke during a terrifying time.
I couldn’t contact my mom for more than 50 hours, and I’m terrified of what could be happening to my people. I was shivering before going on stage today, but I feel very lucky to have a platform to express myself and use my voice in the way that makes sense for me.
