We are pleased to announce our next exhibition, ‘For people who find television too slow’ by Liam Allan.
The exhibition centers around a found parable documenting the misadventure of two Tibetans during the mid-Twentieth Century. Six new drawings, based upon appropriated and edited archival objects, present a series of false images that reflect documented inaccuracies and unguided, speculative narratives.
The show will be accompanied by a new text by Mitch Speed.

‘Holding Patterns’ is an exhibition of new work by Irish artist Sgàire Wood exploring the mundanity of violence and its ubiquity in our visual environment.
Utilising the semiotic language of heraldry, in which abstract representation of the brutalised animal body is a common motif, the exhibition positions the precarity of maligned urban wildlife as parallel to that of populations navigating the rise of fascism and ethno-nationalism.
Through its focus on the complex notions of identity, heritage and violence embedded in heraldic tradition, ‘Holding Patterns’ aims to confront and undermine the authoritarian weaponisation of the image and the animal body as a symbol within wider visual culture.
We look forward to seeing you at the opening on Friday 27th March 6-8pm.

Thank you to everyone who came and showed their support at our fundraiser on Saturday. We would like to share some extended dates for our photography exhibition ‘On This Land’ which will continue at @govanprojectspace .
The exhibition will continue 12-4pm on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th and bids will still be open throughout the dates and will close on Sunday at 4pm. We will also be sharing the artworks on our stories on Friday as a chance for those who can’t make it to bid in person. 💚💚💚
Thank you so much to everyone who came over to On This Land and raised funds for Gaza and Sudan🧡 The exhibition will reopen 13th-15th Feb.
@artistsformutualaidscotland put in so much hard work putting together the exhibition and all the events, alongside loads of folk from @govanprojectspace and @glasgowcaringcity
20 photographers (including me @alasdair_watson ) brought together a beautiful show of photos and more, and there was a table full of prints and zines for sale.
@kutetheband , @lugas_europ and @plasmatron played awesome sets, @squeeze_print_studio and co ran screenprinting, @thepenpalcollective brought kids activities. Huge respect to the skaters for their skills, and @b0bbybroon & Niamh’s mum for food and drinks. Plus dozens of other people and groups who pitched in to make everything happen.
Thank you so much to @miriamali@niamh_mcinally and @alicepoole__ for inviting me to be part of such an epic day, and for raising literally thousands of pounds for @gazasoupkitchen and @sudansolidaritycollective (total raised TBC).
