This doesn’t feel real. It doesn’t even make sense. Making this post breaks my heart, but it’s important for the Pumpkin Guts community to know… This week, we lost a brilliant artist, writer, filmmaker, and professor - my friend Kurt Forman. @kurtforman2 You may know him as your favorite midnight horror host, DOCTOR CHAINSAW! Kurt was a visionary who lived and breathed horror and science fiction. He had a way of seeing things differently, of understanding the world through a creative lens that lit a fire in everyone around him. He was my mentor, my creative partner, and my greatest friend. We created Doctor Chainsaw’s Horror-A-Thon - our own twisted little film festival built on the horror we loved. Kurt played Doctor Chainsaw in Pumpkin Guts, bringing the character to life in a way no one else ever could. RIP Kurt. I miss you, man. Thank you for everything. You’ll forever be a part of everything I create… and what we’ve created together will always remain. Long live Doctor Chainsaw 🖤🫀⛓️🥀🩸
