I got the chance to talk with @foodandwine about one of my all-time favorite wines: @camins2dreams Syrah, made by my friends and @gotherewines winemakers @tgomez805 and @mtaribo. It pairs beautifully with these Pomegranate Chicken Thighs, but would also be delicious with any of your fall cooking or, of course, on its own. Our friends at @wineenthusiast (thank you @hennabakshi) recently told the story of longtime partners of Maydan and winemakers of @gotherewines , @eddiechami + @abdullahrichi, @heyawines, and many others who are making wine in the dark right now in Lebanon. Examples of the spirit of the country, they are moving forward in the face of the unimaginable. At Maydan and Go There, we talk about food and wine as a form of protest. And telling the world who we are. Tonight at @maydandc, we are hosting the second installment of our new wine dinner series where we partner with winemakers, producers, and distributors making wines we’re super excited about right now & that we have been lucky enough to feature at the restaurant over the years Tonight we are featuring my beloved @gotherewines While our amazing winemakers can’t be here tonight (they are all over the world - Lebanon , Georgia , South Africa , and California ️ - making these killer ), @fearless_greene & @social_chan_ge , and I are going to do our very best to tell their incredible stories & share their wines with as much passion for them as they do. Here they are ️ when we actually had everyone in town to launch the brand in LA a couple years ago. Can’t wait to see them all again hopefully soon, but we’re toasting you all in the meantime. : @thedrdunk
