Future 40
I am beyond grateful, honored, and blessed to be included in the Future 40 class of 2023 for Wine Enthusiast. I never thought this day would ever come because I was past the 40 under 40 age group, so when I got the news, I was in a bit of shock as they relaunched the list as Future 40 last year, opening it up to All Ages!

@wineenthusiast , thank you for recognizing the hard work I put in day in and day out. It’s a labor of love that I feel really passionate about. I am living out a dream that I had as a kid, to not only be a winemaker, but to establish my own winery
@camins2dreams . And, even though I am a small family producer, I was raised on giving back. I will continue to do so, to support my BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and bring awareness to the under-represented/under-resourced communities. Thank you for not just recognizing me, but celebrating me.
Also, thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way, especially my Indigenous community, I am truly humbled. To those wanting to pursue the wine industry, but too timid to move forward, I was you, but never gave up and persevered. I hope this inspires you to keep pushing forward and follow your dreams, because I am now turning my dreams into reality.
To all the Future 40 Tastemakers, congratulations! I am so happy to see diversity in this industry. Although we still have a ways to go, I dream of seeing more Indigenous Tastemakers being celebrated for their work.
