A tribute album by Goro Ito, Paula Morelenbaum and Jaques Morelenbaum featuring new arrangements of songs by their close friend Ryuichi Sakamoto. The album centers on a selection of Sakamoto’s works from various eras, interwoven with a classic by Antonio Carlos Jobim and the new song “Fragmentos” by Goro Ito and Paula Morelenbaum. Supporting musicians include Aya Ito, Koichi Sato, Keita Ogawa, and Mami Kakudo, all of whom accompanied the tour. Haruomi Hosono joins on bass for the track “Happy End”, a song also covered by Yellow Magic Orchestra. As a bonus track, the album includes “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence re-modeled by Goro Ito,” originally released on the 2010 Goro Ito-produced compilation album “Christmas Songs” (commmons).
