Genevieve joined Pieter in 2022 while we were still hosting roving workshops and events, and hit the ground running during the Pieter Parking Space residency and “Knees, Schools Urges” programming at @theboxla . She has been a primary architect of the systems design behind our rentals program, built our current website and has been a photographer, videographer and “master of pastel gradients” for the posts that have crossed your feed these past 3 years. She’d like to extend her gratitude to the many artists and collaborators she’s had the pleasure of working with and can’t wait to see how the next chapter of Pieter unfolds!

These incredible ‘Grand Prize’ gold nugget nails were created in collaboration with Genevieve Belleveau ( @gorgeoustaps ). We’ve been working on nail art projects sporadically for 4 years now and I’m so grateful for our collaboration. Thank you for helping bring this idea to life.

For many years I’ve been obsessed with dentist signs that display what I call “suspiciously happy teeth”. I’ve been cataloguing them out in the wild and recently made this little tooled leather photo viewer charm for them, so I can carry them with me like cherished amulets. Inspired by charivari, tamagotchi and chatelaines; the art of collecting, archiving, evolving.
