They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. That expression never sat right with me.
I've always had immense respect and even reverence for the creators that have come before me. Their works are the source of all my inspiration.
To land somewhere within their ranks was one of the driving goals of my life when I was younger.
Now AI can replicate the works of all our great masters. As we've been wrestling with this new reality I've had intense thoughts and conversations both with my peers and with AI as well. (A bit of a "what do you have to say for yourself" moment).
And I still don't really have any answers.
The more we create, the more the machine will adapt. It'll learn to replicate any of our creative processes. The complexity moat will only last a little while longer.
We'll quickly be living in the phase where technical chops and even creative voice are available to anyone and everyone.
While this does have it's positives I also must consider what we'll lose.
I think we've all realized that in the war of art vs content, content is the victor. (I feel it's closer to content kills art, skins it and then parades around in its place but that's for another post.)
I feel right now like we're on our way to losing all sense of meaning, at least so far as it's attached to our creative impulses.
Again I don't necessarily have any answers, but I wanted to create this piece to help solidify some of my thoughts and feeling around creating in this current moment.
So with that said, I give you... SINCERITY.
If you are not a fan of Chili's, Banana's or Pineapple I don't wanna know you. Check out all our characters and grab some sick art prints for yourself and maybe a friend. 🤙
ANNOUNCING OUR HOLIDAZE SEASON PRINT SALE!
For the first time ever you can get one of our legendary character art prints for the wallet-friendly price of $5 bucks.
Each print is 5x5 on cardstock, get as many of your favorite Froot characters as you can handle. Upgrade the size if you want or keep 'em smaller. It's up to you!
They're great gifts! Get Boss Banana for your Dad because Dad's love Boss Banana. Buy a Chil Pepper for your bro! Give that baddie who won't text you back a Bouncy Blueberry because she deserves it!
It's the Goofy Frootiverse and everyone's a part of it except for Blake Santiago. Blake sucks and this deal is for everyone but him.
So get out there, click the link, go to our website and pick up one or several or 100 unique art prints because they are awesome and wonderful and dope and without out awesome wonder dope Froot-based art this world is just kinda sad and bleak and we just can't have that now can we?
Of course not. So please get your print today because this deal definitely won't last because then it wouldn't be a deal. A big part of deals is that there is a limited temporality to them, everything is finite right? Just like our time here on Earth. Ok maybe we're going in a little too deep for a sponsored Instagram ad trying to get you to buy a ridiculous print of a fruit character but that's just who we are. We're the type of dudes that see a loose string on our sweater and we just have to pull it to see where it leads.
Except it's not a sweater, but rather our entire conception of reality.
And that's exactly why we're the type of blokes you should be buying your art works from.
So please let's end this madness and grab yourself a nice juicy little piece of the Frootiverse and have yourself a great lil Holidaze this year.

Goofy Froot (@goofyfroot ), a comic book and art studio created by writer Mike Grossman (@goodgreatgrossman ) and artist Max Travers (@maxplanets ) ,are bringing their larger-than-life universe to Five Points Fest!
Featuring characters from the “”Frootiverse””, all life-sized fruits (“”the froots””) and have larger-than-life personalities. Since 2016, they’ve expanded the Goofy Froot brand into other mediums such as street art, canvas works, enamel pins, and apparel/streetwear - with vinyl toys on the horizon. We often say, “”Goofy Froot is the comic we wanted to read the most, but it didn’t exist, so we created it for ourselves!””
Stop by Goofy Froot’s table on June 8th and 9th during Five Points Fest to meet some of the Freshest Froots in the Frootiverse! Tickets are available now at fivepointsfest.com.
