GOOD SELECTION is stepping into a new chapter, evolving into a biennale event designed to grow over time with continuity and a long-term vision. It will maintain its presence in Paris and Milan, the two cities where it has taken root, connecting designers, professionals, and the public, while also showing up occasionally in other cities that can support the project’s growth. It will skip the Milan Design Week 2026, making way for the next edition at Paris Design Week this September — subscriptions will open soon, and we can’t wait to welcome you.
In a design world driven by complex commercial systems, GOOD SELECTION takes a different path.
An accessible, non-profit exhibition that removes intermediaries and gives full autonomy back to designers.
No filters, no commissions, no compromises.
Exhibiting doesn’t mean giving up economic freedom — it means reclaiming it.

Looking back at Milan Design Week feels a bit like opening a time capsule, where everything comes back at once. We are happy and proud to have built something more than a show: a community that grows around a shared way of seeing things, a designer-centred point of view that gives meaning to what we do.
A truly thank you to everyone who supports us and believes in our project and in the philosophy behind it.
We know we’ve been quiet for a while, thank you for sticking with us. We’re stepping back in, ready to share more with you.

IMAGES — Based in Marseille, the French designer @dorian.re has developed a distinctive practice at the intersection of sculptural experimentation and research. Fascinated by materials and the narratives they carry, he explores our relationship to materiality with both sensitivity and clarity. Through a subversive and unconventional use of craft techniques, he shapes a personal visual language marked by the traces of human gesture and touch.
During Milan Design Week, the designer presented his new plastic lighting as part of the group exhibition @goodselection_ .
