I recently had the privilege of sharing some thoughts and industry insights in the March issue of Music Week.Back in 2019, I made the decision to pivot from a career in the world of design engineering/ digital transformation in order to step fully into the music business and as they say, the rest is now history.In the issue, I discuss insights that have propelled my career forward and reflect on the many lessons I’ve learnt along the way.Thanks again to @carlamarieuk and @musicweekinsta for the inclusion!

An experienced multidisciplinary creative, @goodnessv_ is currently part of Spotify’s Songwriter and Publisher Partnerships team, creating global opportunities for songwriters and producers. She has led creative campaigns spotlighting songwriters such as KAMILLE, MNEK, GuiltyBeatz, Ari PenSmith and Mbryo.Over the years she’s worked with teams to facilitate songwriting camps for emerging talent around the globe, notably in London, Lagos and Nairobi. Goodness has also launched numerous Songwriter Pages for Nigerian talent such as REMA, LONDON, Kukbeatz and Louddaaa.Before joining Spotify, she scouted emerging artists as an A&R at Decca Records (Universal Music Group). She transitioned into the music industry, having previously worked in the digital transformation industry at design consultancies such as AKQA and Accenture Song.’Let’s lift her up in the light of her contributions to Accelerating Action #AccelerateAction #MavinIWD2025 #WomenInMusic #GoodnessVictor
