NYC stop of the historic Great Men and Grateful Pawnbrokers tour was a success. Thanks to all these legends for stopping through, to Darksmith for drawing the flyer, to Shots for supporting, to @queenscountysungazingsociety for doing sound, to my beloved @mrarrarr for helping with logistics, to @kaleidoscope.bk for the space, and to everyone else for coming out for a lovely evening. Scroll to the end for a poem many of the attendees wrote together. Not sure how much longer I want to be on this platform, but for now it's nice to share a happy memory
Two weeks until the prophesied Great Men and Grateful Pawnbrokers tour makes a hotly anticipated stop in BK. Darksmith will have several original drawings for sale at the show, including the one used for the flyer. In honor of the heavy @regionalbears alumni presence, very limited copies of the mighty Stockport label's new batch along with some older releases will also be available, with all proceeds going to the artists. Get tickets now via the link in my bio (yes they are actually cheaper in advance! the service fee is only 38 cents!). NOTAFLOF
Wrote for another issue of @untitledzine . Honored to be a part of this one, which comprises an amazing overview of the Canadian scene along with a host of other fascinating interviews, histories, and artwork. My piece is a poetic take on wall noise that hopes to start new conversations about the genre/tradition. Many thanks to @chrisgibson and my fellow contributors. Copies available in the States from @malevolent.relics
No idea why it took me so long to actually hang this up. Untitled piece (likely unfinished) by an unknown artist, i.e., NOT MY WORK even though I wish it were. One of my favorite things I've ever found. This photo doesn't really do it justice
