Rediscovering a slower side of Bristol with Tiny 🐶🌿 We explored part of the Bristol Ring Walk, walking from Bedminster Down to Clifton Observatory, and honestly found so many peaceful hidden paths and beautiful views along the way. The Bristol Ring is a new 33-mile circular walking route around the city, split into sections so you definitely don’t need to do it all in one go ✨ I downloaded the @gojauntly app and completed the walk at my own pace, which made it so easy to follow along. Who doesn’t love a good walk? @bristolcouncil @bristolringwalk @bristolwalkfest #bristolring #walkbristol

after the bath skyline walk that i did last week with the uni, i decided that i needed a change in scenery and do my lil girl walks in nature instead. i've always wanted to be more outdoorsy - i'm always out and about somewhere, but i never really had the guts to explore the more foresty side of bristol, mainly cos i didn't know how to navigate the space. maybe it's a sign from above or maybe it's just the algorithm speaking, i came across this lovely walking group, so just decided to sign up and i had such a lovely time today. thanks @gojauntly for the tour - and the app is such a game changer!! <3 we'll see what random side quest i'll be up to next 😆

🚶‍♀️Join us walking around Bristol this month with @bristolwalkfest (BWF) @bristolcouncil 📆 Every May, throughout national walking month, BWF hosts a wealth of walking-related events and activities. There is something for everyone, from nature trails, scenic hikes and historical tours to walking sports, family-friendly strolls and cultural walks 🌳 This time we did a walk with @gojauntly from the bottom gate of @ashton_court_estate , crossing the Clifton Suspension Bridge @brunelsbridge all the way to the @cliftonobservatory and discovered parts I had never seen before (like the rose garden and the ‘ice storage’ cave). We saw many plants and trees: bluebells, water lilies, giant sequoias and centenary sweet chestnuts as well as learning about the statues dotted around the park (like the first statue of the reel is of James Starley [by sculptor Ben Dearnley @bcd_sculpture ], inventor of the penny farthing and considered the father of the bicycle industry - you learn something new every day!) ➡️ Make sure to check out / for the next events and download the Go Jauntly app /download to go on your next walk! 🤔 Do you prefer nature walks or city walks?
