Aylesford Action and BGT have received word from affected tenants that CoreSpaces (the entity this incredible community beat back in November) plans to move forward with the purchase and demolition of the block. All outreach to CoreSpaces has been ignored, so we are left to assume their plan is to demolish the buildings — then refile for a zone change on the basis that “affordable housing” is no longer relevant.
We need more housing. But we do NOT need, or want, predatory out-of-state developers who seek to circumvent the will of the people. This is bad faith, all to make a buck off the backs of our community — charging students and their families out the nose due to low supply, displacing working-class residents, and forcing bad design into our downtown corridor.

this has been a HUGE labor of love by so many people. ten different artists contributed their time, energy, and talents to capture historic homes in the Aylesford area that are in danger of demolition due to the rezoning. I have been moved to tears putting this together, there is so much love packed into this small little book. I hope this touches the hearts of city council and we can save these homes!!

I can't believe there's only 6 weeks until surgery!!! I've been waiting and wanting this for YEARS and it feels surreal it's finally happening... I am SO close to my fundraising goal, I have a couple more weeks until the full amount is due and every dollar helps!!! I know there are so many folks in need, so many issues and causes that we are all trying to support (or boycott!!) and I am deeply honored people are wanting to support me.
