š„¹ From a mission to help my daughter to a community movement...ā
ā
š« My big AHA moment was when my newborn Grace reacted badly to mainstream products. I started to do more research and was shocked to learn what ingredients companies put in their product, so I started to dig deeper and became a mad researcher. I learned about their manufacturing processes and the lengths they go through to greenwash their products. ā
ā
Five years later, I decided to turn my passion and knowledge into a force for good, and Go For Zero was born. It started as a personal quest to find safe, toxin-free products for Grace but has blossomed into something much biggerāand itās all thanks to my passionate, amazing team and your endless love and support. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.ā
ā
Did you know:ā
šš¼āāļøwe support over 100 (mostly female-founded) companiesā

Itās a dream come true to see my vision grow and to be able to educate & inspire others to make safer and more sustainable choices. ā

3. Easy to move around to chase the winter sun
4. Perfect for camping, caravans & apartments
5. No brittle plastic pegs snapping, but rust-resistant instead

This deserves more hype š¤£

Your thyroid is basically your bodyās control centre for hormones, metabolism, energy⦠everything. And every day, we spray synthetic perfume on it.
But⦠whatās in āfragranceā?
I used to spray perfume on daily. Multiple times. I was obsessed with smelling ācleanā.
Until I got pregnantā¦and suddenly one of my room diffusers made me feel nauseous.
I remember wrapping it up and popped under the sink but every time I got a whiff of it, it made me feel sick.
It is only many years later that I learned that āfragranceā isnāt one ingredient.
It can be a mix of thousands of chemicals (yep, up to 3,500 š³) including things linked to hormone disruption.
If youāve ever felt off after smelling a perfume⦠youāre not imagining it.
And hereās the part that got me: brands donāt have to tell you whatās inside. Itās legally protected as a ātrade secret.ā š¤Ø
So that one word on a label is a cocktail of ingredients youāll never see.
No thanks.
Keen to try out natural perfumes? These Viva la Body perfumes are all natural, Aussie-made pocket-sized & so loved by our community ā¤ļø xx
I use a free app called āUV Indexā. I often think the UV is fine⦠and then I check and it surprises me.
Anything above 3, I wear sunscreen, no matter the season. It also takes the discussion away with my kids. Above 3 = sunscreen.
In this video Iām using all natural options:
1. Surf mud (natural zinc) on my face. Great for any sport or when you go surfing šāāļø
2. Sun Butter on my neck + body. Itās an SPF 50, 2h waterproof, reef-safe, all natural sunscreen that feels really good on the skin.
Just a little autumn reminder š x

I wash my produce every week after coming back from the farmers market šæ
Weāre lucky here that we can buy a lot of organic food at a pretty reasonable price, so we do. But even organic can still have residue (plus dirt, people handling it, transport⦠all of that).
So I always rinse everything really well before popping it in the fridge⦠because I know my kids wonāt š
Itās such a simple habit, but it just makes sense.
Iām using our multipurpose bar because it has baking soda in it, but you can just use baking soda at home too!
Do you wash your produce? Xxx
I have a 'use me up' part in my fridge and it's so helpful. I put all the older fruit & veg in one spot so I can see what needs to be eaten first. Simple but effective way to stop wasting food & money š„.
Have you tried it? X
What if your festival food leftovers could help grow tomorrowās food? š¤ā

Itās the last week of Earth Month & we are cleaning up some nasty ācleaningā products!
⨠Stain remover stick: This one I use allll the time. Food stains, wine, blood, mystery marks⦠it just works.
And hereās the thingā¦most mainstream stain removers use fluorescent dyes meaning they coat, not clean!
Our natural stain remover stick actually removes the stain. Coconut-based soap lifts it & citrus cuts through it. It is one of our bestsellers for a reason.
One stick replaces a full bottle too š
š§½ Dish cloth: I didnāt think Iād care this much about a cloth⦠but here we are š
It replaces up to 17 rolls of paper towel, absorbs everything, and my favourite part is that it dries SO fast.
Which means no smelly cloths (you know the ones).
Small swaps, but they add up.
All orders $100+ get them for fee + free shipping š
Have you made any of these swaps yet? š§¼š§½š
What does it take to swim for 90 days, cover 1,367km, and spend around 468 hours in the ocean? šš¼āāļø
For marathon swimmer Jono Ridler, it was all in the name of ocean protection and ending harmful practices like bottom trawling.
š From the top of New Zealandās North Island to Wellington Harbour, Ridlerās unassisted staged swim drew thousands of supporters and sparked national conversation about marine conservation.
With just 0.4 per cent of New Zealandās vast maritime area currently protected, his journey highlights the urgent need for change. Along the way, he faced jellyfish stings, cold water and even shark sightings, all for a cleaner ocean future.
Ridler is heading to parliament on Wednesday the 29th of April to handover a petition calling for the New Zealand government to end bottom trawling.
