A person has died in a unit fire in the north Canberra suburb of Belconnen.
Emergency services were called to Wallcliffe Flats on Osborne Place at about 6:30am this morning, where they found a ground-floor unit alight.

The Canberra Brave will hit the ice at the AIS Arena this Saturday, for their first home appearance of the 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League season.
