When @infdark unveiled its AW 2026 collection, it posed a sharper question: when is a garment ever truly finished? ✨
Instead of polished finality, the brand leaned into the in-between raw seams, unstable silhouettes, and forms still negotiating their shape. AW26 exposed construction, layered modular elements, and built garments that shift and adapt on the body.
Like identity itself, each piece remained in motion. ✨

Exogenesis ✨
HENGDI WANG SS26 demi couture collection "EXOGENESIS" draws inspiration from the idea of "the origin of exogenous life," to reconstruct the body as an expanded organic form, merging ancient Eastern mythology with post human anatomy, futuristic materials, and algorithmic craft to construct a fashion universe that transcends myth, technology, and future speculation. Here, myth is reimagined not as nostalgic fantasy, but as a fragment of humanity's collective memory, an echo of unknown star systems and alien lifeforms.
Through the fusion of biomechanical architectures, sacred geometry, and next-generation 3D textiles, Hengdi explores new forms of post-human corporeality and emotional expression. 3D-printed fabrics and metals encode celestial cartographies, translating bones, scales, and mechanical modules into a speculative survival system for the future.
Traditional embroidery and jacquard techniques become data carriers, coexisting with digital algorithmic language to articulate an organic aesthetic that simultaneously commemorates the past and extends into the future.
In the endless reverberation of the cosmos, clothing becomes more than a covering for the body it becomes a time capsule, a cultural vessel, and a living code of memory. Each piece in this collection serves as a portal: a continuum, a connector, and a tool for remapping humanity's place in the universe.
