We're delighted to say that the restoration work on @thefolkofgloucester 's Pin Factory Annexe is now complete! 🥳 DA Cook builders did a fantastic job and of course it wouldn't have been possible without @historicengland 's Heritage at Risk Captial Fund.
We're so glad that a part of Gloucester's pinmaking history has been preserved for future generations, showing what can be achieved when several heritage organisations work together.
If you want to see the results for yourself, please come along to the grand reopening on Thursday the 28th of May! From 1pm onwards, our volunteer guides will be on hand to show you around The Folk and talk about Gloucester's pinmaking history.
💦 WHAT A WEEKEND BY WATER! ☀️
A huge thank you to all the amazing businesses involved and everyone who came along to enjoy A Weekend by Water last weekend 💛
From brilliant events and exclusive offers to sunshine-filled waterfront moments, Gloucester Docks was buzzing with energy ✨
A special shoutout to our Gloucester Ambassadors on their very first voluntary event — you were incredible! 🙌
As John Riley, Ambassador Coordinator for Gloucester BID, said:
"The passion and commitment shown by our wonderful Gloucester Ambassadors throughout the weekend was truly impressive. From welcoming visitors to helping bring the whole event to life, they launched in style — and we’re so excited to see them continue making a difference in the city."
Thank you for helping make it such a fantastic weekend 🌊
