@thepinnacleguide and our incredible #IndustryInspiration ! 🍾
Delving into his role, Dan explained, “At Global Bartending, I work on developing international partnerships, expanding our network, and building opportunities that support bartenders at every stage of their career. With The Pinnacle Guide, my role involves strengthening industry relationships, communicating the value of the accreditation process, and ensuring that bars understand how The Pinnacle Guide supports both reputation and long-term business growth.”
Speaking on his love for the brands, Dan said, “What I love most is that both Global Bartending and The Pinnacle Guide operate at the centre of the ecosystem supporting drink brands, bartenders, and bars in equal measure. For bartenders, we create opportunity, recognition, and pathways for career progression. For bars, we help establish credibility, standards, and global visibility. And for drinks brands, we provide meaningful engagement with the people and venues that truly shape drinking culture.”
Looking to the future, Dan shared his goals, “Short term, the focus is on growing the global presence of Global Bartending and The Pinnacle Guide. For Global Bartending, this involves expanding international partnerships, fostering collaborations between drink brands and hospitality professionals, and building a connected global community. For The Pinnacle Guide, the goal is to raise awareness of its accreditation model, highlighting its value in providing transparent recognition to bars and supporting their long-term growth. In the long term, the aim is to contribute to a unified, professionally recognised global bar industry.”
To conclude, Dan advised, “First: treat your career like a craft, not just a job. Specialise. Become exceptional at something specific. Second: build your self-value intentionally. The professionals who thrive long-term are those who understand both craft and commercial awareness.”
