What if music felt less like a performance—and more like a conversation? This June, the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival invites you into something different. In Time Signatures (June 14–27, 2026), each concert reveals a new rhythm—bold, reflective, playful—brought to life by world-class artists in an intimate setting where every note matters. You don’t need to know anything about classical music. Just bring your curiosity—and experience what happens when musicians truly listen to one another, and to you. 🎟 Tickets from $45 | Students $15 ✹ Flexible options—come once or explore the full journey /

Festival Friday Flashback! With just 7 weeks to go until opening night of our 2026 Festival, we’re taking a moment to celebrate an incredible journey—12 unforgettable seasons with our Artistic Director, Paul Watkins. Over the coming weeks, join us as we travel down memory lane, revisiting past themes, favorite quotes, and standout performances that have defined Paul’s inspiring tenure. This week, we travel back to 2015 for New Beginnings: Making Music in America. Paul Watkins had just succeeded James Tocco as the Festival's new Artistic Director, ushering in a new era of leadership. His inaugural Festival highlighted contemporary innovation alongside masterworks and featured the world premiere of Hand Eye, commissioned for eighth blackbird by the composer collective Sleeping Giant. Stay tuned for a weekly look back at the moments that made each season so special!
