Both projects on the same record! Three variants go live on Thursday (March 12th) at 12 PM EDT. Magenta and Sky Blue will be sold via our webstore (link in bio) (limited to 250). Our friends over at @turntablelab are stocking a limited “hazy bloom” variant that looks beautiful and will go live on their website at the same time.
Vinyl will be 24.99$ and shipping will begin immediately (might take a few weeks to finish all the orders because it’s just me (Gustavo) doing the shipping).

Our second record “Apiary” is out now.
Huge thank you to all the amazing people who have helped us during our 3 tours. Everyone who played a show with us, housed us, helped us with booking, and everyone who came out to dance and cry at our shows have made these past three years so meaningful.
This record was made using the same “internet band” process as Our Skies Smile, with parts being recorded individually and compiled into one project file. We spent countless nights screen-sharing our DAWs on Discord, deliberating the details.

GIZZMOIX started in the smallest way possible - late nights in a bedroom, experimenting with 8-bit sounds and pushing them onto Game Boy cartridges just to see what would happen.
It was raw, curious, and completely driven by passion rather than plans. Those early releases felt more like secret artifacts than products, shared among a small circle who understood the charm of lo-fi limits and playful experimentation.
Nin-do and music have always played a huge part in my life - from playing Mario Party with cousins you rarely see anymore to eventually booking your own punk shows. So why not combine both passions?
To celebrate five years of Gizzmoix Records, I’m releasing six projects by bands that massively impacted my life - flashed, cut, and assembled by hand onto custom Nin-do DS cartridges. Each album comes with its own little story, a snapshot of a memory, a feeling, or a time that stuck with me.

I don’t really want to spell out what these records and the people behind them mean to me. Some are people I met at shows, some are the reason this label exists at all, and some are legends I held onto when my first real heartbreak hit at sixteen. That meaning is mine, but what matters more is what they become to you!
At the end of the day, I’m just one guy shipping records, contacting bands, and doing the occasional graphic design. I hope you take these releases, sit with them, and make your own memories. That’s what this has always been about.
GIZZMOIX will always be a 100% DIY passion project.
That’s exactly why so many of these releases exist in collaboration with labels from all around the world - without them, this label wouldn’t stand a chance.

Had the incredible honor of being commissioned a comic for Gingerbee’s last show at Thalia Hall in Chicago on March 1st to commemorate the ending of the band. This little story is a reminder that even when it’s over, we can still remember the good times.
