Where do I begin?!?! Friday night, my whole life changed! I have dreamed of competing in this pageant for the better part of five years now and this year I finally got the chance. I was able to secure a first place local title..a first place regional title…and on Friday night I was crowned the NATIONAL SHOWGIRL OF THE YEAR for the 30th anniversary celerbration. This competition allowed me to write and design my own show..and bring it to life…and now I’ve won a $100k CONTRACT TO TAKE MY SHOW ON TOUR ALL OVER THE US AT 30+ LOCATIONS. Did I mention I am also the first African American Showgirl of the Year in its 30 years of running.?!? Not only are my dreams coming true, but we made HISTORY on Friday. Growing up in foster care..dealing with so much loss and pain my life..made it seem like the odds were stacked against me. But God put a promise on my life to be the one who breaks the generational curses, and He has moved Hell out of the way to make that possible. Shout out to all of the beautiful ladies who competed all over the nation. The talent, beauty, and grace goes unmatched. We are the best in the world, and it shows. Congrats to @novaslices on your 2nd place national title and @greeneyecuban on your 3rd place national title..my new found sisters! I love you and I can’t wait for our paths to cross again! @zelda_zodiac for being my partner in all this madness and representing @dejavukalamazoo on a national level. I am still in awe of you! To my trailblazer GM Holly Johnson for seeing something in me five years ago and pushing me to stay hungry and never settle for mediocrity..you have paved the way. I have big shoes to fill but because of you, I have the confidence and drive to do so! 2026 EDI EAST SHOWGIRL CHAMPION, Best Dancer, & Most Original Show! IM GOING TO VEGAS FOR FINALS!! 🏆✨🎉 Bringing home the #1 title I’ve been prepping all year for a shot at and words cannot begin to describe what I’m feeling right now. Just last year I was invited to compete in Starlet division of the EDI’s.. This was my very first time stepping into the Showgirl division, and I’m honestly still trying to process it all. I’m so grateful, so humbled, and a little in shock that this moment is even real. Another dream unfolding right before my eyes and I don’t take a second of it for granted.
