Ayeeeee… mixed emotions coming out of this one.
Nice to get another PB… Bummed I might have hit sub 1:20 if I didn’t run an extra 500m accidentally on run 4.
Stoked my running improved ALOT, thanks to my rib injury stopping me from weight lifting and forcing me to run more… But bummed I’d lost so much strength from not being able to lift.
Bummed that I was sick for the race again… but stoked I did that well as sick as I was.
3 weeks till Paris. Last women’s pro of the year. 7th race since I began last November.
Gotta get my strength back up, keep my running up. Improve my push, burpee, lunge and wall ball.
I think sub 1:20 is in the bag if I learn to count. lol. Adding a little stretch goal to 1:18 for Paris.
The most beautiful weekend!

1:24:08 — we’re getting somewhere!
First pro race back since Auckland, and a solid step toward that sub-1:20 goal by London Hyrox in December.
Auckland (1:38… oof) really messed with my confidence for a bit. I knew it was a tough day and I made a few mistakes, but it still fucked with me.
Then racing the Open in D.C. last month reminded me why I love this sport — lit that fire again. I jumped back into training hard over the last few weeks, and yesterday’s race showed that it’s paying off.
4 races in, I’m starting to get a pretty good idea of my strengths and weaknesses in the race. I’m excited to build out my training program for the rest of the year.
Feeling good, having fun, 6 weeks till Hyrox NYC!!!
Let’s fucking gooooo!
Still so so sore from Sunday’s Hyrox race—but feeling pretty dang good overall. Considering I’ve been sick and out of training for a while, I’m genuinely happy with finishing in 1 hour 19 minutes. My main goal was honestly just survival, so I’ll take it!
Next up is the Hyrox Women’s Pro in Miami in just 17 days. Back into full training mode now: wall balls 🤮, lunges, sprints, running—bring it on. I’m finally feeling healthy again and ready to turn up the training.
I haven’t felt this pumped for training since my Derby days! Some say I’m a little competitive.
Hyrox freaking ROCKS! It was especially awesome competing alongside everyone who traveled with us from @f45_training_boerumhill .
Can’t wait for Miami!
