This isn’t the first home I’ve made.
It’s just the latest version of all the ones I’ve carried inside me, the curtain that used to be a dining table cover, the carpets that feels like my nani’s living room, the scent of summers spent elsewhere. A patchwork of every place I’ve ever belonged to, sewn into these walls.

Home is where sunlight pirouettes through windows, turning quiet corners into daydreams and every imperfection into poetry. It’s where Gagu and Chikki’s tiny paws echo through rooms filled with colour, stories, and a little bit of chaos wrapped in love. Grateful for every beam of golden light, every mismatched vase, and every whimsical piece that feels like an old friend. Bandra has a new bar and i feel so lucky in saying this out loud that we designed it at @gigglingmonkey.studio , funnily enough I have only lost my phone once and it was in this very street at a bar and this just feels like the punchline of this joke that I get to design my first bar in that very street (first of many!!) haha.

This shirt was a gift from the kindest @m_parwez_alam and gagandeepsinghpowar , the machis and the primary colours are just so beautiful and the thoughtfulness of adding the scallops to the collar so i also matched my house in some way. I think this has to be one of my most favourite pieces. The machis has been hand painted by kalamkari artists from the srikalahasti cluster in Andhra Pradesh.
And paired them with stripessss from @quarter.hq
