I’ve owned this original Giant Step pressing of Anastacia’s “Not That Kind” since the day it released. Kerri “Kaoz” Chandler did what he does best—he stripped everything back and gave it that signature driving kick and soulful swing.
This is the sound of the NYC underground at its peak. 26 years in my bag and it still clears the floor every time that bassline drops. A true essential.
