This series presents a selection of paintings accompanied by the artist’s notes. The texts move through different points of her practice — from attention to the body and gesture to experiments with texture and rhythm, from questions of portraiture and presence to scenes encountered during walks, studio sessions, and chance events.
The works balance structure and intuition: figures, self-portraiture, and urban and coastal motifs emerge through observation and painterly decisions made in the moment.
