I had the pleasure of animating a beautiful illustration by @sarahmazzetti for “Slam – Sounds like a Movie”, taking place at @triennalemilano this November.
The animation, simple yet effective, plays with scale and rotation to bring each character to life. I decided to use posterized movements in correspondence of the boldness of the shapes and colors.
The animation will be showcased both within the exhibition and as part of the festival’s social media and OOH campaign, bringing the artwork to life across different platforms.

I played around with some lights footage from NY with @touchdesigner
I used a Time Machine effect to blind the images and a dither effect to add texture.
New York is a place of wonder.
