++ BOISE! Tonight me and @ghostblanket will be performing at @realms.life after the summer flea market from 2pm - 8pm. We have some special things planned and hope to see you there. Infinite love in the temporary pond જ⁀➴

Between the 10th and the 20th of July I participated in 5(ish) shows that I am either proud or very proud of: July 10th - "Artifacting x Ex/Endowed". A collaborative & highly physical performance piece. First time playing drums live. Wrestled @uncanny.hidden.valley.ranch onstage (mutually agreed prior to the set). Borrowed Jearin's drum kit and played drone-y bass-y eurorack. Tried plugging in my guitar to the rack as well. Sounded crazy. Reminded me of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Tyrus on vocals, a hardware violin he built, sampler, pedals, and backing tracks. Highly conceptual & physically demanding. Felt like Tyrus and I channeled something from a shared extra dimension. July 15th - "Crow of Thorns" A set for the first ever @idahonoisefest . Stoked to have played that no-bullshit, pure power electronics set with @tyrus_newell . Live improv with modular rig, contact mic, pedals, & drum sampler. July 16th - "Street Fever". I programmed and fired off the lights for @streetfever 's Noise Fest set. Beautifully destructive. July 17th - "Artifacting". My solo set for @idahonoisefest . I was running on fumes creatively, & struggled to figure out exactly what I wanted to do for my solo set. I decided that I wanted to mix up the noise fest by playing a distorted, heavily atmospheric set. I returned to my stillness and leaned on the set design. My mom @thebelledemijour graciously let me borrow a pillar from her garden. In a sea of black old english typeface shirts I adorned my equipment in white. I used ableton, modular, samples, & voice. July 20th - "Goth Night DJ Set". Just a fun DJ set. Felt great to dance and share music ive come across over the past few years. @stephybees put together a great playlist too! Big thank-yous: @idahonoisefest , @mutilatedcircuitry , & the @realms.life crew for facilitating Boise history, & all performers. @tyrus_newell & @lasherforever for being inspiring collaborators & supportive friends :,) @groomingbpm for making the trip out, hanging, & putting on one of the best 1-man shows ive ever seen. I was fully immersed. @goblinforhire for putting up with the racket & keeping me sane <3 Love & Light to all who support the arts

Exendowed, flying from New York, returns back to Boise to bring havoc with their intense and physical power electronics. Artifacting, a local powerhouse of diverse styles, they bring a really unique style of experimental electronics that stands out from the crowd. Crow of Thorns, a rare treat of a collab of Exendowed and Artifacting. Industrial techno beats with intense vocals and even more intense stage presence. July 10th I will be back in Boise to perform in the shrine basement with some of my favorite people. A dream lineup of longtime collaborators and friends to be making a return too. For the first time EX/ENDOWED and Artifacting share the creative stage under their individual pseudonyms. Combining the relentless pity soaked industrial of X and the methodical choking atmosphere of Artifacting, a long planned joining of forces now comes to fruition with planned projects on the way. Porcelain Tongue, the genre bending collective bring their melancholy drenched and layered dissonance brand of guitar music to share a stage. A personal favorite of mine since I saw them play a Halloween set four years ago, grateful to have the Boise powerhouse share a stage for the first time in three years. Lasher, chaotic in nature and technical in approach. The coagulation of industrial, hyper pop and hardcore always bring an unapologetic energy and a relentless stampede of sonic warfare. One of my closest friends, yet again and not for the last time, another shared artistic moment. Nuppeppo, bring the truest form of experimentation and their gritty brand of noise rock collide in monolithic swells of shrieks and distortion. im on the road for a month w/ @lasherforever . we're having a good time so far. i made this video from pictures and videos on my new little camera. i made the background music also. im trying to make one of these videos for each place we stay a few days in, or enough time to capture useable footage. for this first one i wanted to evoke the dream-like feeling of being in Berlin. it has truly felt like being in a fairytale place. the history is rich, complicated, and unrelated to that, a German man fined me for using public transport wrong. 8/10
