I have spent the past 11 months working in the Rupture Programme developing a sci-fi TV series. My entire life I have been obsessed with aliens and space and I finally got to be my nerdy weird ass self and go to town.
It has been some of the most rewarding and joyful work I have done. I got to share the journey with screen icons @sophiekatehenderson@shoshmcc@brita.mcveigh@slinkyempire@mj_mogumogu and Hamish Bennett.
Huge love to my dream team from the beginning to the bitter end @juliamariacroft and @astro_jje 🪐
All the love to @silotheatre for giving me a home away from home to write.
All the love to @nz_on_air or for the support.
And especially all the aroha to @eloiseameliaveber and @alexreed7245 - you guys made the impossible possible.

That’s a wrap from me on @silotheatre Taniwha. It’s on all next week if you’re looking for something to do with the kids! Absolutely magical show to send off the iconic @sophie_cr_ from her role as Artistic Director.
After the show go check out Lissy and Rudi’s wharenui at the Civic theatre. It’s free and awe inspiring.

An incredible honour to win the Dramatic Feature Award from the Moon Jury at @imaginenative 🎥
This festival holds a special place in my heart. I was able to attend back in 2018 with the wāhine toa of Waru, so to have my first feature screen here and win all these years later means the world.
Shout out to the team, especially my indigenous co-creators.
Indigenous excellence forever!
Toitū Te Tiriti!
Fuck fascism!
Decolonize the screen! 💪🏾🤎
We are honoured to announce Josephine Stewart-Te Whiu, recipient of the Dramatic Feature Award!
