Few rising talents possess the shapeshifting ability of Mista Myles. He is not confined to a single box. His repertoire is a free-flowing river of Afrobeats, R&B, Pop, and Highlife. You can call him a vibe mercenary or maybe just the dynamic. His instinct-driven approach is what makes him so compelling: an artist who lets the “vibe” speak for itself, jumping on any instrumental that moves him. This raw, adaptable talent has already led to major career milestones, most notably the high-profile feature with Ghanaian titan Shatta Wale on “Body.” That experience didn’t just give him a hit but crystallized his understanding of success: the absolute truth that “anything is possible if you keep putting in the work.” Now, with tracks like the lyrically intentional “Camavinga” and “Rizzler” anchoring his recent output, and a significant 2023 nomination for Uncovered Artist of the Year under his belt, Mista Myles is focused on a long-term goal. He’s chasing the legacy of Wizkid, aspiring to build a career defined by “longevity and the work ethic.” We catch up with Mista Myles, whose career is destined to erupt into a dynasty. Ghanaian singer and songwriter Moliy is stepping fully into her superstar era. In a newly released feature with NME, the fast-rising Afropop star reflects on her journey from a shy teenager in Accra to one of the most exciting voices shaping African music on the global stage. Fresh off the explosive success of her 2024 hit “Shake It To The Max,” Moliy shared how the viral breakout completely transformed her life and confidence as an artist. The dancehall-infused Afropop anthem earned her first Billboard Hot 100 entry as a lead artist and sparked global dance trends, including her viral “shy girl whine.” Despite the massive success, Moliy revealed that the journey behind the scenes was far from glamorous. “It totally changed everything about my life,” she told NME. “It wasn’t just words anymore… It’s real. I do have what it takes to keep doing it.” Born Moliy Ama Montgomery in Accra, Ghana, the artist spoke candidly about growing up in a deeply musical household where gospel music, Michael Jackson, and Celine Dion filled her childhood. Inspired by her mother’s unrealized music dreams, Moliy eventually found her own voice through songwriting and experimentation. link in bio for more Photos @moliymusic for @nmemagazine Photography: Nirah Sanghani / @shotbynee Hair: Shamara Roper /@shamara_roper Hair Assistance: Arielle Cumberbatch Makeup: Simmi /@makeupbysimmi Styling: El-Shaddai Nyagodzi /@elshhyy Location: Studio Endura /@studio_endura

Built around atmospheric production and introspective lyricism, “LIFE OF ECSTASY” explores themes of perseverance, ambition, and emotional resilience. Through reflective storytelling, Xlimkid examines the tension between hardship and success while offering a personal perspective shaped by lived experience.
