Mrs. Sabah Zita Benson, Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, attended the 16th Oxford Africa Conference 2026, organised by the Oxford Africa Society, under the theme “Anchoring Africa: Grounded Leadership in the Age of Disruption.”
H.E. Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang delivered the keynote address, highlighting Africa’s capacity, talent, and resources to shape its own future through credible leadership, institutional resilience, and sustainable economic transformation. She underscored the importance of initiatives such as the 24-Hour Economy policy, women’s economic empowerment, technology, trade, and African integration in positioning the continent for long-term growth and development.
