I think the best part of rehearsing a cycle of water-themed music is the endless waves of metaphor… 🚰🌧🧊🫧🌧🌊

I am supremely proud of the @gfbla Concert Band (and Marching Band!) for a stellar performance this Sunday for our concert, FLOW: Rain, River, Sea.
I had such a great time conducting this show, especially since it had some personal favorites like Molly on the Shore and the Moldau. It’s a privilege to make music with such a dedicated and expressive band!
🌊 Grab your tickets to Flow: Rain, River, Sea, a musical journey through our connection to water on Sunday, April 19 at 2pm at Immanuel Presbyterian Church. This GFBLA Concert Band concert will feature the GFBLA Marching Band and Color Guard and members of the Desert Winds Freedom Band. Tickets at link in bio or at gfbla.org/events 🎟️
