In today’s world, we often admire stunning images without considering the safety, care, and integrity that underpin them. With FLY Karavek, safety is not just an afterthought; it’s a core value and a profound responsibility. It reflects our respect for the body, the practice, the trust others place in us, and the land that supports our work.
This season, we had the honor of hosting a remarkable gathering of inspiring women from across the globe—dedicated aerialists and teachers from the USA, Hong Kong, Colombia, Singapore, Austria, Mexico, and Dubai—united in shared purpose and presence.
We welcomed an extraordinary highline rigging team from the United States -
@marco_fontana @wildflwrnicole @_.emily_may @adventurous.aerialist , whose years of nonprofit work in California exemplify outdoor aerial safety. Their dedication goes beyond technical skill; it embodies deep care, effective communication, and respect for this vital work. We are immensely grateful for the humility, precision, and heart they brought to our gathering.
After 20 months of meticulous planning, our inaugural safety-focused silks-on-highlines event came to fruition. Ten returning FLY hosts, many of whom are instructors, along with 13 seasoned guests, convened to deepen their understanding of true safety. Collectively, these educators have guided over 1,000 students in their communities. By investing in our education, we create ripples of care that empower others to ask important questions, choose aligned spaces, and prioritize their well-being.
These safety experiences are sacred opportunities, not part of our regular retreats.
With FLY Karavek, we commit to intention, working with those who lead with love, and creating spaces where empowerment arises from alignment. It’s about honoring those who do this work with devotion and values.
