On technical jumps I visualize everything from when I’m going to turn on my cameras, do my gear checks, open the door, reminders on the step, the cadence of the count, the launch, the flow of the dive and my position/ framing, to breakoffs, post deployment housekeeping, and landing including high performance canopies to check for in the pattern. Even nuances I want to remember about landing. Everything you do to prepare is free. Visualize!

Please join me in congratulating Craig Girard on his momentous achievement: induction into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame. 8 world championship titles, a career that took him from the Golden Knights to Arizona Airspeed, and a lifetime of lifting this sport up. For a few dollars you can prevent a common entanglement cause. Swap out your thumbscrew for a M5-20 bolt and washer. If you order them from Amazon, grab a pack of M5-18 and share them with friends. Yes, a full on case would be safer, but for a few bucks this solution works for everyone!
