⚙️ How Do You Know When Your CYPRES Is Due for Maintenance?
• Maintenance is based on the unit’s date of manufacture (DOM)
• You can find your CYPRES DOM on the processing unit, the original test certificate, or your reserve packing data card.
• You can also access the next maintenance date directly on the control unit display.
⚙️ How to Access Your Unit’s Information • Turn the unit on • When 0 appears at the end of the switch-on sequence, press the button immediately and hold it down • Each value is displayed for 5 seconds, then the next value will appear • The third value displayed is the next possible maintenance date • Release the button at any time to stop the sequence
⚙️ Maintenance Intervals • CYPRES units follow a 5 and 10 year recommended maintenance schedule • Units manufactured prior to January 2017 follow a 4 and 8 year schedule • Maintenance is mandatory for units manufactured prior to January 2016 • Each CYPRES has a +/- 6 month maintenance window, meaning it can be sent in up to 6 months before or after its due date
Bonus! Sticking to the recommended or required maintenance schedule automatically extends the original warranty until the next scheduled maintenance or end of service life.
Not sure you’ll remember when maintenance is due? CYPRES makes it easy. When the display reads NOW, the unit is actively in its maintenance window and ready to be sent in. 🔧
