Cassini and Get Nowt are pleased to present an exclusive free Q+A session with Pleasure Club boss and Fabric resident BOBBY. ahead of his All Night Long set at Cobalt Studios.
Taking place in the loft above the club, the session will shine a light into BOBBY.’s creative outlook and approach to music production, DJing and curation. As curator of his label & soiree Pleasure Club he has released a string of critically acclaimed records, as well as several well received solo releases and remixes by himself across his own labels, Cabaret Recordings and Fabric Records. Never following trends and forever in his own lane, the dancefloor experience is always unique with @bobby.pleasureclub .

Newcastle born and bred, @pattnmusic pushes a sound at the intersection of deep
house, indie dance, melodic techno and UK breaks.
With Pattn back in the North East we are really excited to introduce him as one of our tutors on the Get Nowt programme. He will be our main Ableton tutor and will support young people in the region, helping them access the wider industry through mentorship.
As well as establishing himself as a regular at fabric London, Pattn has released on revered labels such as fabric Originals and Frankfurt-based label Live At Robert Johnson.
He has also performed at FOLD, E1, and Phonox in London. Across Europe,
he often plays at Sisyphos and Kater Blau Berlin, and he has closed out Hï Ibiza’s closing party in the infamous Wild Corner.

Get Nowt features 1:1 sessions with 2 of the best North-East based producers and mentors. 4 selected participants will get the following, with the goal of making a finished track:
* 6x 3-hour sessions (October + November) with a tutor in a professional recording studio in Newcastle upon Tyne - tailored and customised to you
* A free Ableton or Logic license
* 4 x Cradle Plugins
* A complete press pack. Professional press shots, bio, etc.
* A SanDisk USB
* A financial contribution to something missing in your studio
* Guidance and mentorship around producing a track which will be pressed on vinyl
* Travel costs covered (for those coming from beyond Newcastle or with access requirements)
* Ongoing access to support and advice on industry from the Shy Bairns team

The space is steeped in history and has been a recording studio in Newcastle under various names since the 1950s where legendary acts such as The Animals, Jimi Hendrix and Lindisfarne grace the live rooms with their immense presence.
