Merry Christmas from me to you! Who’s got more room under their tree?
I’m so thankful for the growth and changes that have led me to feel the love and warmth of so many new people this year. I’m proud to continue representing my Filipino heritage this Christmas with @noblecreations.us and Kuya @mr_enchongdee — such a fun, wholesome shoot with the best! I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season, and wishing you a Happy New Year.

Grateful doesn’t begin to describe it.
I’m still in shock and absolute awe. I am extremely humbled and excited to officially be your Queen Miss Philippines USA 2025.
I was also crowned Miss Philippines USA Tourism, and bestowed the title of Fighter Vigor Ambassador.
My life and career had been in a period of stagnancy, burdened with isolation and pessimism. Within the past year, I was overcome by my illness for months, hospitalized for a nearly fatal infection, and was in a severe car crash that I’m still in physical therapy for. All of which left me broken, figuratively and literally.
I finally internalized the fact that you have to lean into your dreams and desires for them to become your reality. Community is integral to quality of life and individual growth. Intercultural exchange and celebration are keys to empathy and unity, regardless of identity and ideology. I decided to push past the mental and physical blockages and step into something bigger than myself, in order to enrich my life and reconnect with others the way I did before I was inundated with daily work and the comfort of monotony.
Joining MPUSA has been a challenge, proven well beyond in its worth. Through MPUSA, I have gained not only strength for myself, but a new family, a deeper connection to my people, and a platform to make a difference. This has been the honor and opportunity of a lifetime.
I have this crown because of you, for you. I will be a strong leader that stands not before you, but beside you. My purpose is to exude beauty and grace in emphasizing what makes our heritage special, but to also take on the responsibility of exemplifying the true potential of American Opportunity. All of the support and sacrifices our loved ones have made for success and happiness in this country have not been for naught. I have so much more to say, and so many people to thank. This is only the beginning. Thank you so very much.
💛, Queen Monique

Your Miss Philippines USA Candidate #23 🫶🏼🇵🇭
This official announcement is long overdue. I am competing to represent the Filipino-American community as Miss Philippines USA 2025!
Pageantry is a cultural staple in the Philippines and for Filipinos abroad, and is something I’ve held in far-away dreams since I was a little girl. As I get older, it has gotten easier to be caught up in work and daily life, though I also feel the increasing importance of intentionality in building community and making a difference. I realized that now is my time.
Being Filipina is one of the things about myself that I hold most dearly and am most proud of. I have been hard at work in preparation for this pageant. Besides the hours upon hours of training, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting. Reflecting on what it takes to stand on my own two feet as someone battling autoimmune illness, when it takes a toll on my body and pains me every day to get up and show up. Reflecting on what it takes and means to be a leader for my people while exuding strength and grace. All of this is because being chosen to represent Filipino-Americans means everything to me.
I’m doing this for myself, but I’m really doing this for you. I’m doing this for disability awareness and healthcare accessibility. I’m doing this for the value and beauty of intercultural connection. I’m doing this for immigrants and Americans alike. I will do my very best to represent and advocate for the Filipino people. Let me be your next Miss Philippines USA.
