We are excited to share the premiere of our new multi-genre performance “AM I NOT HUMAN? (I want to laugh too)” on 4 and 5 June at Theatre im Delphi @delphitheater (tickets in bio). June 4 & 5, 2026 20:00 Duration: 1 hour Language: minimally text-based; Turkish and English in selected passages. Location: Theater im Delphi, Berlin Between a lounge and a pasture, Am I Not Human? drifts through emotional excess, belonging, and the fragile performance of being human. The tension between joy and agony is built upon an Arabesk musicality. Inspired by this tension, and the question posed in the title of the referenced, iconic Turkish Arabesk song, Ben İnsan Değil Miyim? (Am I Not Human?), the performance opens itself up to the complexity of human experience posed on an absurd, non-fitting background. Direction, Choreography & Performance:

Mai 2026!! 19.30 Uhr Anton Gerzina Groove Lab: Pipe Edition Tanzsolo Anton Gerzina lotet in seinem Tanzsolo Groove Lab: Pipe Edition den Spielraum aus, den eine Metallstange einem Tänzer wie auch der Tänzer der Metallstange gewährt. Der Körper sucht nach einer Struktur, an der er sich festhalten kann, während diese ständig in Bewegung ist. Figuren und Bilder verschwimmen und verschieben sich ineinander. Was wird hier gehalten? Wer hält hier wen?  Groove Lab: Pipe Edition is an exploration with metal pipes. The performer engages with the agency he has over the pipes, as well as the agency the pipes have over him. The body looks for a structure, for something to hold itself with — while that very structure is itself rearranging. 
Figures and images blur, mutating in and out of each other. What is being held here? Who is holding whom? ca. 20.30 Uhr WILHELM GROENER FRAMES FRAGMENTS FREQUENCIES Tanzfilme Im Anschluss an die Performance projiziert das Berliner Künstlerduo Mariola Groener und Günther Wilhelm eine spannende Auswahl aus seiner experimentellen Tanzfilmreihe FRAMES FRAGMENTS FREQUENCIES an die Wand des Pavillons. Das Kurzfilm-Projekt in acht Kapiteln ist eine Reflexion über Zeitlichkeit und Bewegung, Maskerade und Eskapismus, Licht und Dunkelheit, eine filmische Phantasmagorie irgendwo zwischen Hyperaktivität und Somnambulismus. Thank you @sophiensaele team for hosting us in the New Techniques residency. Focusing on the 1990s telenovela Muñeca Brava, the research departs from the series’ transnational circulation across Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. It approaches melodrama as an embodied technique: a non-institutional language absorbed through collective spectatorship in late 1990s television. Burcu Bilgiç and Nicole Wysokikamien, together with the performer and musician Anton Gerzina, hack Muñeca Brava’s scenes, diving into their early imaginaries of gender, class, and desire. Nostalgia and cringe become tools for revisiting these imaginaries. Working with movement material drawn from the show—long gazes, confrontations, stillness, sudden runs—the research reorganizes these elements to open them to new affective possibilities. Pipes and Peers This dance will be danced by an unstable assembly. They are investigating and stretching the time of becoming, of fusion and of being gathered. That liminal moment — right before the first hydrogen nuclei manage to fuse — the “almost” of starlife. They lean onto dissonance as a life force and navigate its effective and sonic spectrum. They use dance as a fantasy landscape to practice living. ⛓️ . . Joint Joint is a fully improvised dance. In the piece, the two performers Anton Gerzina and Milena Stein attempt to become one. While they try to melt into each other, become functional together, say the same, get somewhere, they encounter resistances and uncanny surprises. A third body emerges. @milenaluisestein @ger.zin
