We are excited to share the premiere of our new multi-genre performance “AM I NOT HUMAN? (I want to laugh too)” on 4 and 5 June at Theatre im Delphi
@delphitheater (tickets in bio).
June 4 & 5, 2026
20:00
Duration: 1 hour
Language: minimally text-based; Turkish and English in selected passages.
Location: Theater im Delphi, Berlin
Between a lounge and a pasture, Am I Not Human? drifts through emotional excess, belonging, and the fragile performance of being human. The tension between joy and agony is built upon an Arabesk musicality.
Inspired by this tension, and the question posed in the title of the referenced, iconic Turkish Arabesk song, Ben İnsan Değil Miyim? (Am I Not Human?), the performance opens itself up to the complexity of human experience posed on an absurd, non-fitting background.
