A previously unknown creature nests in the gallery's exhibition space to unfold as Fluidextra. Fluidextra arises from the longing to be able to leave the symbolic order; gender, class, ethnicity, age, experience - everything that manifests itself on the body - is taken up and explored in the constructed space-time of the spaceship on its own existence.
It is not possible to leave one's physicality; only actions can be learned and relearned; actions against gendering, without the pressure of production or performance. This utopia can only fail. Thus Fluidextra will try to come closer to itself in a painful process of emancipation from internalised self-suppression.

During my studies I worked in several jobs to make a living. Being a dresser in a Varieté Theater was one of them. I had a lot of time to read books and making pictures, studying the textures of all the fabrics and wardrobe around me.
