these ladies really brought so much vibrance! It was such a pleasure shooting with you all.
So, I’ve been a visionary my whole life. When I was a kid I would make my sisters dress up & we’d act out plays I’d wrote in my grandmother’s backyard. We’d perform for them & they’d clap as we took our bows 😭✨🙏🏾 I’m thankful for the hints God gives us. Whether I was forming groups and choreographing our dances or writing songs and plays. I always took the lead, creatively. I was always imaginative. Slide 2 was a beautiful reminder. Thank u to GOD & my grandmothers for always allowing space for me to be artistic. RIP Grandma Anna 🕊️🔔✨

Some of my favorite moments from this short film are the glimpses of Detroit during the holiday season. It is such a beautiful place to be. Filming our very first short in our very own city has been an incredible experience. & We cannot wait for you to see it captured on film. Merry Christmas to everyone!
