Students exploring the geomorphology and geology of uplifted marine terraces at Crystal Cove State Park with Dr. Marshall. They used topographic maps, GPS units, laser range finders, and stadia rods to map and survey a sequence of Quaternary marine terraces that have been uplifted above the San Joaquin Hills blind thrust fault! 🌊
