Come see the only comic store inside a movie theater in the world (I think!). We’ve got #thesuicidesquad playing at the legendary @gardenacinema Doors at 10 for the comic shop and movie at noon! Where else can you get #absolutebatman and #freshpopcorn !? Nowhere! That’s where!

I think y’all may have missed one of the best comics of the year Spider-Man/Superman. I know what you are thinking… “I already got that two months ago” Well surprise - Spider-Man/Superman is not the same comic as Superman/Spider-Man! This one has @geoffmjohns @bradmeltzer and Dan Slott turning in some of the best short stories in all of comic books! Brad Meltzer’s story may have me tear up. And Geoff’s story is already becoming famous on the internet (it’s that story where Superman talks to Hulk to help him calm down). It’s just an all-around great comic, so if you only have Superman/Spider-Man, make sure you also pick up Spider-Man/Superman at Gardena Cinema this (and every) Wednesday from 5-8.

Y’all. Y’ALL. I literally cannot overstate my love of this comic. And my anger at the world that this isn’t more popular than Saga, which I love. Yeah I said it! THAT’S HOW GOOD THIS BOOK IS! I want to do a video breakdown but if I start I will make a 10 hour video about the whole series. If you are making me pitch you on it… What if your dad was Indiana Jones and he just died? Then you found out you had other secret siblings? But then also there are lion gangsters and robot cat clock best friends and the whole thing is a metaphor for parenting? But then also there is a skeleton butler. @joekeatinge and @leiladelduck put together one of the greatest comics Image has ever published and YOU DIDNT READ IT. So fix that right now or come see me at the #latimesfestivalofbooks because I got a booth! Come see me at booth 911 - that’s an easy one to remember so no excuses! See you tomorrow!

This Saturday April 11 at noon we are showing K-Pop Demon Hunters at @gardenacinema ! Oh man I’m so excited. My daughter dressed as Rumi for Halloween. Who else had a daughter dress up as a member of Huntrix!? Because I saw a lot of little hunters out there on Halloween. Our Saturday morning comic con is unchanged! We will still have great comic book deals from Geoffrey’s Comics and @collectorsweb01 and our special guest @raheightcomics will still be there sketching and signing comics. If you are new to our show - the comic convention part is from 10-12 and is completely free and you don’t need to buy a movie ticket to come. But you are going to want to this week since it’s K Pop Demon Hunters!!! Ahhhhhhhhh!
