A 6 a.m. wake-up call and a two-hour wait for a court—but the gratitude of playing on these cerulean courts, in the best city on earth, is never lost on me. Movement, a healthy body, and the resources to play are not a given. In times like these, to be tired from your passions and creations is a true luxury.
Healing through the craft. There’s a certain balance found in baking that the rigors of life can’t provide-it’s what happens when I followed my heart, not my head which was constantly anxious.
