Kicking off May with my book club pick AND SO IT IS by my dear friend @jamielynnsigler š¤
This one feels really special. Jamie shares her story with so much honesty, from growing up in the spotlight to navigating illness, motherhood, heartbreak, and everything in between. Itās an incredibly vulnerable look at the moments that have shaped her life, and it stays with you.
Iāve always admired her strength and incredible wisdom, but reading her words like this⦠itās a whole other level.
If youāre craving something real this month, something that reminds you that growth and grace can exist at the same time, this is it.
AND Iām so honored to celebrate and chat with Jamie in person at Book People this Friday - linking tickets in stories if youād like to join.
Canāt wait to read this one together š¤
While itās been two weeks since @comicconfrance I just wanted to say a big thank you š¤ Iām so grateful for everyone who came out to support us and say hello, so many new friends and so many familiar faces. Jared and I shared so many laughs, stories, and little adventures during our time there. Until next time āØ
Au revoir, Dordogne. We had absolutely no idea what we were doing when we got there, and somehow that was exactly right.
Stumbled into Sarlat like two people who definitely did not over-research this trip ( full disclosure I thought the Chauvet caves were in Dordogne⦠they are not). Hired someone smarter than us, @walktalkeatfrance , and our guide Gabby made it look like we had a plan the entire time. Highly recommend outsourcing your expertise with them.
Then drove to Paris. Ate our body weight at @ciasamia , stood in a room full of taxidermied animals and called it cultureā¦
France: 10/10, would get lost here again š«š·
Heās always living on the edge š I wanted to explore the region and @jaredpadalecki kept me in full flow state. We (he) drove to Rocamadour ā a castle literally carved into the cliffs and hiked up to it. I just⦠stood there in complete awe of what humans boldly built into the sky. āØ
Then we descended 130m underground into Gouffre de Padirac and had that same feeling all over again ā pure awe of what nature quietly built in the dark. šāØ
