What we thought would be a fashion boutique became a third space for a community of creative and like-minded individuals in the form of Género Neutral. as we’ve been navigating the news of our closure becoming public knowledge, we’ve still found it hard to ask for help, or have conversations around what’s needed to see us through the other side of this transition. our goal has always been to create a space that reflects the love we have for bringing people together + the importance of community. this closure feels similarly to what it was like preparing to open the shop; full of labor, financial expense, and uncertainty. our dear friend Javi put together this GoFundMe to help us close this chapter of GNLA and set us up for the possibilities of what’s next. if you’ve ever enjoyed our therapy couch, our free-for-all parties, what we’ve stood for, felt seen, felt connected to, felt anything in these last 3 years because of GN/us, we’d be humbly grateful for anything you might be able to contribute. the link to donate is in our bio. thank you so much 💚 Ash + Jenn
