Something from earlier this year for @childrenwithcanceruk 💛[Director’s Cut] As part of the #Milestone campaign by Children with Cancer UK, we made a film sharing moments of Billy and Demi - characters based on real-life stories of childhood cancer survivors. When we look back on our lives, certain moments feel significant — family holidays, birthday parties, the first day of school. But for families going through cancer treatment, milestones take on an even greater significance. For children with cancer, each and every moment is a milestone. This campaign hopes to highlight the vital importance of the work done by Children with Cancer UK: funding life-saving research, supporting families and raising awareness as they work towards their collective vision. I’m extremely proud to have produced this film for @waterbearnetwork which premiered on the free platform today. Behind the Screens, an experimental, immersive documentary brought to you by @fairphone focuses on four key stages in the life of a mobile phone, highlighting not only the labour and resources that go into their production, but where they can end up after they leave our hands.  Almost every one of us has a mobile phone and for most of us, they are indispensable, the first thing that we look at in the morning and the last thing that we look at at night. We carry them everywhere, and worry if we misplace them. But, considering their importance, does anyone really know what and who was involved in the manufacture of their mobile, and where it goes once we’ve replaced it?  Thanks to the whole damn team!
